Lockdown in the UK - has been a right mare. Hairdressers have been closed for like three months. Come Monday, they're allowed to open again. I'm booked in for Tuesday.
So, rather fortunately I've grown a mop u can actually do something with. But what?
Well, I'm still not sure 'who I am', so easy does it, one step at a time. After spending a lot of time consulting the mirror and web, I've decided on an androgynous Pixie style. I have a heart shaped/Inverted triangle face shape, and I think it'll work. I've looked at past pictures of myself - the good ones - didn't take long - and yes, I was leaning towards Pixie then.
Also I think it looks cute lol
I'll have some pics loaded on my phone in case I get a blank stare from my hairdresser lol.

Per, that is a good plan. Before I went to the hairdresser the first time, I did some research on things you could do with my length and type of hair, to achieve a more presentable female image. And then I chatted with the hairdresser and showed her what I had come up with. She had some suggestions, and we made a plan and got started. I have not regretted it one bit. Although I wish mine would grow faster and not be so wispy and wiry... But that is what I have to work with, so be it... Michelle
Yeeeehaaaaw!!! I asked a teen girl I know, and who knows me, what she thought off the idea. She said it would look quite good on me. So, that's a vote of confidence.
I'll see how it goes, and consider very very carefully if I can post a heavily redacted pic here after Tuesday......
Wish me luck lol

Per, That is what I did as I started my transition because I had to play both roles, but I still have a short hair style but starting to grow my hair just a little longer. good luck, we learn as we go.

I also went for a more androgynous style. I wasn't sure if a feminine style would look right with my face, although I only ever wear ladies clothes, and always have nail polish and now pierced ears. It seems to work for me.
