Tell us about that first time, the 'you' that is you, ventured out into world and proclaimed, "this is my day, and I own it". Hugs, Michelle

Omg I’ve been out several times now it is so nerve wracking  afraid everyone is looking at me and yet I have negotiated my shopping trips with no problem s  I’m told it will get easier  I think it will I’m still super self conscious. It’s I have this overwhelming urge to be out as my true feminine self  m a work in progress  but it is exhilarating

We all remember our first time, right.   I won’t count the timid first step out my front door to pick up the mail or move the lawn sprinkler.  Not even the occasional trips to the grocery, bank or dry cleaners.

The real proclamation came some months later, when I began a 14 days of 100% real life experience.  My wife was away for work, and I used the opportunity to schedule a mani/pedi, go out for lunch, shop, and crucially, to come out to three female friends/colleagues.  The first of these was rather bold, in that I had scheduled a business meeting with one of these colleagues and opted to attend en femme.   It went amazingly well.   Buoyed by that expereince, I called another friend and sometimes colleague to see if she was free for lunch, mentioning I was “dressed somewhat differently than usual”.   She asked if I was wearing a tux, and I responded, ‘No, but I am wearing a nice coral sweater and white knit skirt”.  She enthusiastically invited me to come on over, which I did, and we spent the afternoon talking about this newly revealed aspect of my life.

The following day, I took the opportunity to text another former colleague, first to invite her to dinner at her convenience, and then, to tell her my secret.   Again, at first she was more than a little surprised, but very accepting.   We met for dinner later that week, pretty much closing the place down.   All three remain friends and supporters.

Well part of the initial deal with my wife is that i wouldnt go out enfemme. One night i didnt feel like taking my makeup off si i drove on the interstate to a reat area. I used the ladies room. No one was there. I freshened up. Walking back to the car i loved my heels maing so much noise. We girls do anything to draw attention.as i was about to get into my car another car was heading quickly twards me. Any girl would be frightened. It was RI State trooper. He asked me if everything was alrifght MAM, smiling i said yes officer and drove off to a covenoence s5ore where i bought a pack of Eve 120 cigaretttes
