Good morning ladies,
My last Dr. visit, I thought it time to share about transitioning. I told him I was taking estrogen, because I felt better about myself and the way it was affecting me. It took a lot of courage to say that, and I was quite nervous about a confrontation, but I managed to get it out as I was anxious as to his reaction.
“Estrogen? don’t take too much of it , it could cause blood clots”. That was it…I wanted to talk more, but I clammed up and finished the visit. I now feel awkward about our next visit. I’m going to try Michelle’s line about other transgendered patients…any suggestions? Roella.

I just asked what he thought, showed him a few pics and let him talk.
