One of my friends commissioned me to interior design their apartment. I'm so excited! They're confined to a wheelchair and need help. I'm very happy to help better design their home to make their life easier. I'll be doing the trades work on whatever design plan they approve as well. This week I finished sanding their dining table top. Its a vintage Craftsman maple dining table. Fun to refurbish and give well designed furniture new life! It was rewarding to get several deep scratches buffed out.
I plan to return to college soon to work on my Interior Design degree. Projects like this are wonderful to start creating my portfolio. Feels excellent to be busy and help others out! Yay!
