I'm doing great in my life,one is running my motorcycle/auto repair shop.Been doing it for 6 years now,had the ups and downs at first.Had employees treat me wrong and not show up.I figured out what went wrong making the changes.My employees now,treat me right and know I'm a fulltime crossdresser.They say I'm a normal person like them calling me Adrianna also using the pro nouns she and her around me.This makes me happy.
That's wonderful Adrianna. I'm glad you made some changes and are get the respect any human and business owner should get. Your note made me pause for a moment and take stock in how my own journey is going eve if it is taking interesting twists.

It was bad,ex employees called me names,one was freak.My customers,no issues with them,learned about me well.Have a couple of them that are transgender including a couple customers with transgender kids

Congratulations!! That is great news and truly inspirational for those of us still hiding in the closet. It certainly helps that you're self employed/ the "boss." For those of us who work for others, it is far more difficult to venture out of the closet. I'm glad you get to live your life, your way!!

I now believe that people really do not understand what a transgender person is all about. Most people have never met one. You are introducing them to world they do not understand. At the end of the day we make more of it than they do. You are doing it right. I work in construction there are more more woman at each job site. My best advice dress appropriately for the job. Do not go over the top. So what if your wearing woman's jeans or your hair is long. If you are fair with your employees and you know what you are doing they will respect you.
