Is non-binary another way of describing gender spectrum? I'm new to a lot of this, and I'm getting lost in the terminology at times.

Thanks,

Non-binary is a gender meaning neither female nor male. Gender spectrum includes all genders.

well as I understand it  Transgender is anyone feels they are not the gender they were born as. This includes the full spectrum of those who just feel they dont fit into the so called normal male or female roles, to those who cross dress ocasionaly and those who transition from one gender to the other from sometimes to always may or may not include physical changes.

Non-binary is one who does not identify as male or female or anyone not cisgender (someone comfortable with the sex assigned to them at birth).  Some states such as California allow people to declare non-binary instead of male or female.

Things have really gotten complicated since I was a kid, learning as kids do. I thought it was all sex, just sex regardless of who was having with who... it was just sex. Today as I stand on the threshold of 60, I can’t even remember the list of  categories let alone their individual definitions.
