I put them here because, outside of the Poets' Corner group, I couldn't find a better forum to copy them. Because I don't want them to be limited to a restricted number of readers. I hope you like them.

To scare away another ghost of a melancholic corner

Isolation,
brutal punishment of misunderstanding and fear,
impossible bars for the free spirit.
I am always in my own company,
wandering through different worlds,
real, imaginary or mixed,
and so I manage to add other people,
imperfect like me, clean or full of ghosts,
with their own concern, with a shared fate,
who acompany me from a distance
or from the sidewalk in front
or perhaps soon by my side;
and a circle will be formed,
that breaks the isolation
and launches me into the dreaming of my destiny
that contains an undeniable truth.

Never worry about the clouds

Sun falls. Moon rises. Stars sleep.
Frightful times await us,
but we must not give way to fear.
Fearless fear of a yearning heart.
A farsaken chimera in the fog.
Blood drips on the nascent wings
and murkiness surround chrysalis.
We are always born to whatever time allows.
Voracious birds that stalk us.
Rapacious. Scavengers. Dormant dangers in path.
Chances open up every day.
For better or worse.
Only option to survive:
to live every moment.

@firefly Gisela, I never shied away from a good poem; well except when I had to read Beowulf in Olde English for school. Now that was brutal. But nice, sweet, soft poems that just flow through your mind, are the beauty that people love. Hugs

A third poem: Stalking of a dark spirit.

When the lightning strikes,

once or repeatedly.

and the darkness surrounds.

Even when it seems that hope

has hidden in the shadows,

among black clouds and powerful winds;

stop for a moment and breathe deeply.

Throw sadness and fear over your shoulder,

place your trust in the future

and continue on your way with a determined step.

Thank you, Alexis. I conceived it as an allegory to face adversity from our inner self.
