A Cautious Hello

Good morning Irina! Welcome to the family.
I came out in February this year, now I live 24/7 as the woman I am. I decided to fast track my transition because of my age.
If you want, I’d love to help you with what I know. I’m not an expert but I think I’ve learned quite a lot over the past 4-5 months. I can direct you to other resources which I used.

Hello Raquel, Thank you for the support. I honestly don't know. I just accepted this as who I was about a year ago and came out to my closest family and friends but I haven't done anything public yet. So I have no idea of what would be good to explore, what to do, etc.

It took me a year to reach out here so yeah...haha.

Hello there Irina, my name Joyce and I know you will find much of the information that you're looking for here.

I'm not on the site often, but I do get notifications and your tentative introduction caught my attention.

Let me tell you a bit more about me first so you will know who you are talking to. I'm a cis female and my wife is a transgender woman. We met about two months in, to her beginning HRT and seriously transitioning.

I have many wonderful friends and acquaintances who have transitioned or are in the process, and something has stood out to me because I see and hear it time and again from those that have completed their transgender/ journey. I want to share that with you, and I hope it helps you, even if it's just a little bit.

Supporting each other gives us insight and hope and knowing we are never alone. So glad to meet you.  So here's what is frequently said by many of the ladies that completed their transition.  "I  thought it was going to be so difficult going through this process, but it turned out to be much easier than I ever imagined".

I know everyone has different expectations and experience, but I always seem to hear that their experiences were mostly positive.

Anyway, I just felt like you needed to hear that.
