Carcerem corporis

No lock, no key, why can't I just be me?
No walls, no bars, just emotional scars.
No warden, no guard, why's it so hard?
No peace, no escape, what a cruel twist of fate.

Jessica, thank you very much. Im glad you're enjoying my poems. The ones from back in the day came from kind of a dark place but very much convey how I was feeling when I wrote them. Ive just begun to muster up the confidence to share them. More to come.

Hugs
