Hello! This is the first time I’ve ever engaged in something like this. I’m here to explore these emotions I’ve been feeling lately associated with my gender identity.
I never felt like I was wrong being a man, but I always would’ve preferred to be a woman. I’ve never used feminine pronouns or names with real people before, so this is an interesting experience.
Anyways, thanks for being such a welcoming community! I’ve read only a little of your folks’ posts and responses, and you all seem to be lovely! I hope that all this will help me discover who I really am.
Okay ... I'm going to enhance that interesting experience for you.
Hey girl!
The first time that anyone greeted me like that over on Crossdresser Heaven I got a warm feeling. I still love it 🙂
I'm embarrassingly new here myself but you're right; it's very welcoming. I'm looking forward to settling in a little more and exploring everything that TGH has to offer. First impressions have been very positive!
Hugs

Caroline,
Like Ellie I just joined Transgender Heaven from CDH. After a lot of research I have found that I am more trans than I thought!
We have a very warm and welcoming community that works with to communicate and support each other as needed. Never feel like a stranger here! Welcome Caroline!
Hello Caroline,
Welcome to our TransGender Heaven (TGH) site: A Transgender Support Site. We are a wonderful, accepting, loving, helpful community where you can be safe and be yourself.
You can read about the knowledge and experiances of others on a similar path by reading articles and in the forums and chatting in chat rooms.
My hope is that you will become comfortable here and make many new friends.
Glad you are here. Looking forward to seeing you on the site.
Terri Anne, Ambassador

Caroline:
We are happy that you found your way here and wish you the best for your journey!
I often suggest to people that they look for a therapist to work with. Gender identity (and sexuality, for that matter) can be difficult to unravel as our minds want to work to keep our stress levels from getting out of hand. That makes it difficult to stay focused on what we need to consider. Working with a therapist can help keep us focused and working towards understanding how things really sit for us. But, it is important to find a therapist with experience in gender issues as not everyone has this background.
If possible, I suggest that you seek out local trans groups. The exchange of information and camaraderie works to validate what we are feeling. It also works to prevent isolation which is very common in our community. This might be a good starting point:

Thanks for completing your Profile page! I often have to remind people to do that, but it really does help other members to get an idea of what your situation is. I’ve also had conversations start from something that a member read on my Profile page. You just never know what will happen. Your page will always be readily available and can be updated at any time.
Also, our Member Directory is searchable. Click on Social in the menu and then Member Directory.
Welcome Caroline,
Feel free to ask as many questions as you wish, there's a lot of very helpful girls on here, and we're always eager to help with lots of helpful answers. 🙂
Hugs,
Ms. Lauren M
Hi, Caroline.
Welcome to our family. I'm just as new to this site as you, but I already know a lot of people like me here. Here we can talk and share things as we please, and I'm sure you can too.
I'm actually in a similar situation to you. I was born a boy, but I'd rather be a girl. Now I am a real girl, but I also like my previous experience, that experience has made me a better self, made me more independent and confident.
I'm sure you'll find a better version of yourself here. People like us better for who we are, at least according to those around me. My current boyfriend, whom I met on a transgender dating app, once said to me that you can be brave enough to be yourself around me, and I like the most authentic you. This sentence made a deep impression on me, so I always stick to the most authentic self in my heart.
