She wants you to know how to see her
Through shadow, beneath dark cloud her foot falls heavy
Light shines ahead, but the sun is low
Time and circumstance impede her journey, attempting to lock the shackles
The road ahead, rough and cracked, smoothed by tears as she goes
A high powered lense is not enough
Only with open mind and heart will she come into focus
Little by little darkness fades, lit by her smile, until one day
As if by magic, she appears, and the world is forever different
