Hello from a Late Bloomer

Lucy, I will be 65 in less than a month. Too late? Nope. Never happen.... It's only too late when you wind up wasting time when you know what needs to be done. Check out the Chat Room, Articles, Forums, and Local Places. To me, this site is the de facto standard reference for the transgender world. If you look in Social -> Member Directory, you can search for other people that may be near by. Or under Places -> Local Places, you can search for all sorts of things that may be near you. Hope to see you chatting again soon. Oh, and don't forget about digging through the Articles and Forums. Loads of information there. Hugs, Michelle

There are many here who started on their journey relatively late in life, including me. Sometimes that’s a blessing in disguise considering all of the things that younger folks may experience when they come out. In my case, it would have been a very different situation in terms of family and career had I started decades ago. Sometimes we dodge a bullet that we don’t even know about.

If you would like to search for other members in New York State, click on Social in the menu and then Member Directory. Also, please complete your Profile page. It helps others get to know you and understand what your journey has been like. It can also be updated at any time if something changes.

Hi, Lucy.  I also want to welcome you to the sisterhood.  And I agree with DeeAnn and Michelle.   It is never too late.  I am 68, and a year into the adventure.  Please join in all the festivities on chat and the forums.  You'll meet folks of many ages and walks of life.  And you might be suprised at how many of us are late bloomers.
