So, I'm from the mid-west, and have settled in south Texas. Growing up, I always questioned who I really was, but never had the opportunity to explore these feelings deeper. As I got older, it started to make more sense, but it wasn't till I was 40 before it was clear who I really needed to be. Being married has been a challenge, but the wife is slowly understanding. Living in Texas has it's own set of challenges, but I'm learning how to work around them. I was on HRT for about 18 months, but the only doctor that would prescribe ended up losing his medical license due to writing scripts for opiodes in exchange for money. The odd thing is during the entire time i was seeing him, not once did I pick up on it, nor did he offer.
Welcome Kalere!Β I can imagine how difficult it may be in Texas.Β If you haven't heard of Jessica Lynn and her Butterfly Project, you might want to kook it up.Β She talks about some of the legal challenges she faced with a spouse that moved to Texas with the children.Β To hear her tell the story is heartbreaking, but she is the epitome of bravery, strength and perseverance. Don't give up o the HRT, you can do it.
Hugs, Cloe
