Hi, I’m Tsu. I’m from the UK & nervous & not really sure what to say. My egg cracked quite recently but I instantly knew things would never be the same again. I’m currently taking estradiol but I’m doing it all on my own. I don’t have anyone else to talk to about what’s happening to me, who would really understand & I’m hoping to meet & chat with likeminded people on here. Thanks for taking the time to read my ramble Blow Kiss Left

@tsu hi tsu. That an unusual name, what's its origin? So tell me about yourself and your regime?

@mistressb Many (many) years ago, when I first started online gaming I wanted to be clever with my name, so I mixed up the first 3 letters & the initial letter of my surname & came up with Tsunami. The only trouble was that I hadn’t realised people would shorten it to Tsu (pronounced Sue) At first I was a bit miffed but I think I always liked the sound of it and thought it fit.

I honestly don’t know what to say about myself, mainly because I don’t recognise the person I am now to the one I was a year ago. I’m a bit of an introvert and quite guarded until I get to know someone & even then I keep walls up. I now wonder if that’s because I was subconsciously in denial of my true self & I was doing it to myself as well. Wow that’s deep sorry.
I actually wrote a whole lot more but deleted it. I don’t think you wanted that much info.
I try to keep reasonably fit & normally jog around 6-7 miles every morning. It used to be 10-15 miles but since starting hrt that became increasingly difficult.

@tsu Hi Tsu, Welcome from another UK member. This really is the one place where there is no need to be nervous. I'm sure you will find everyone here understands completely regardless of where they are in their journey. Ramble away on any topic you like.

X

Tsu:

Glad to have you here. As your journey continues I hope that you will always find this to be a welcoming and supportive place.

When we meet people for the first time in real life, there is an exchange that takes place. In no particular order, things like where we live and other places where we have lived, family situations, occupation and interests. Regarding transition, other topics may be what happened to make us realize that we are, in fact, transgender, what our end goal is (note that it isn’t the same for everyone), what’s going well and not so well and what changes may occur to our family, social and employment situations as a result of transition. If you like, have a look at my Profile. I think the thought process should provide bits of information as to who you are, where you’ve been and where you are going. I’ve also found that a number of conversations here have started from what I saw in someone’s Profile or what they saw in mine. We are, after all, social creatures.

I’m not doing HRT, but one thing to be aware of is that various medications require periodic blood lab work in order to know if key indicators are still in good ranges. So, my question would be how are you monitoring various functions?
