I am a MTF crossdresser who has had concerns that I was born as the wrong gender. Some days I feel Strongly that I should be female and some days not so much. I am married and my wife knows I crossdress and that I have always wondered if I should have been a female at birth. My decision is to see a counselor to determine whether I am transgender or not but no matter the outcome I do not think I will transition. In order for me to think of a transition I would have to know that I would not lose the one true love of my life. Until then I am me and I feel like a woman in a male body. TTFNπŸ’‹πŸ‘

Oh dear one! Our stories are so similar! All I can say is I am praying Maria is more attractive a human than β€œhe” was as a partner to live out our lives with. I am perhaps lucky that she has known of my feminine leanings since day one. Nothing is certain but I am praying she will live Maria as the true one she married Β just in drab and playing an uncomfortable role

Hi Maria,

I read one of your posts and noticed your story and mine are quite similar. It’s interesting how many of us went through very similar childhoods. Even today I find it easier to talk to a woman than a man although I can keep up a guy conversation for a short time but a female conversation lasts quite a bit longer. I know what you mean about playing a drab role and can’t wait to don the fab trappings and be who we are. Take care sister. TTFNπŸ’‹πŸ‘

Hi Danielle and welcome to TGH.Β  You're doing the right thing with seeing a counselor and considering how your marriage would be impacted.Β  Slow and slower are the only way to handle it with her.Β  Talk, talk, talk and be ready to compromise if you can, but it does take two.Β  I wish you well in your journey and hope your sisters here at TGH will be able to share and help support you.

Hugs, Cloe
