Hi. I'm Stacey a 55 year old mtf from Central Texas. I have been on hormones for several years and have been thinking about taking a big step and having surgery.
Hi,
It is good that you found us. Many here have faced the same decision. I would hope that you seek professional help in sorting through this as the human mind resists change very strongly. All kinds of things will present themselves as a way to minimize and changes in your life. A professional can help to navigate through things and help maintain focus.
When we talk about change, think about how when we have a difficult situation that needs a decision or you must talk to a person you don’t like. We often invent ways to delay, or even avoid, the situation.
Also, I encourage you to complete your Profile page as best you can. It is a great help to other members to understand how you are doing and how you want to progress.
Hi Stacey
My name is Jamie and I am 64 yr old MTF trans female. HRT for 18 months. I live in Dallas and see you are a fellow Texan south of Waco. Welcome to the group. I am still debating which lower surgery I will have. I have plans for it when I retire in less than two years.
I think that you should plan on doing the lower surgery somewhere where they have more experience than in Texas. If you are ever up in the Dallas area let me know.
I was thinking about the Crane Center in Austin. It's close by.
<p style="text-align: left;">Welcome to TGH, Stacey.</p>
Hello Stacy,
I am known as Hippie on here and at CD Heaven. I recently came to Transgender as soon as yesterday Jan 21 2021. The reason I came, because I have a childhood friend open up to me and told me that they were Transgender, and they wanted my help.
So I am here today as a Transgender Supporter for my best friend, and I am also a Crossdresser. The CD side knows a lot about the Crossdressing side and know very little of the Transgender side of things.
After almost 15hrs on here yesterday, I'll tell I have learned an awful lot and I will keep learning.
