I found a link to this site on my Facebook feed. I thought I would give it a try. I’m on Facebook as Meagan Stone and it has been a very good resource for support. I will try not to be too big of a wet blanket....but truth is I’m lonely scared and hurt most of the time. I’ve been at this a while...around 4 years full-time and longer than that HRT. My marriage and family have been falling apart like a slow motion train wreck...sometimes I just want it to be over. Yeah, I know, too much info for an “intro” message. It’s just one of those days.

I have experienced many of the same feelings and life scenarios as you, many of us have. Our road can be an uphill drive, but I hope that you will continue to share and I know you will find great support and love here from our community. When I am feeling down I often come here to the group chat, where I have found some truly beautiful friends from all over the world, who always lift my spirits and help me regain my smile. Hi Meagan, it's never too much info when you'r reaching out for help. I'm glad to count you as one of quite a few friends on FB and now here too. Your experience with marriage and family are things I have experienced too and I know how it feels. I and the members of TGH are here to be a resource to you in times of need and even just to chat which sometimes is therapeutic in itself.
You may see I spend quite a few weekends in the DC area and I can tell you, you're in a really great location to find local support and friends.
The key I've found with my therapist is, you can never have enough support, virtual, local or long distance. The best way to get that support is to reach out and you've just taken a really good step here by just jumping in. Now the more you put in the more you'll get out.

Hi Megan........welcome to TGH. I know what you are going thru, sweetie. I have been there for a long time. If it were not for CDH and TGH and all the wonderful girls here....I would have ended it long ago. I look forward to hearing from you....my door is always open...do come in and set a spell. Let's share our woes and see if we can turn things around for you.
