While crossdressing could be described as a lifestyle, for transgender people it is just Life. Typically crossdressers don't feel the need, nor are driven, to live as the other gender but transgender people do.
If I understand correctly, it appears that you identify as a crossdresser. While there are some crossdressers here, this site is primarily for transgender people. I suspect that many of the crossdressers here may be trying to figure out if they are, in fact, transgender. That's not a problem.
However, if you have no interest in that, I suggest that you have a look at our sister site, crossdresserheaven.com (CDH). Some of the differences are:
- On TGH you will find discussion about working with a therapist, hormone replacement therapy, gender affirmation surgeries, document changes regarding name and gender, relationship issues, coming out, transitioning in place, etc.
- On CDH you will find discussion about presentation, clothing choices and sizing, makeup, having makeovers, etc.
In short, the difference is about living as the other gender temporarily or permanently. Have a look at the forum topics on both sites and see what fits you better...
Honestly that is what I'm trying to figure out because I'm bisexual and I do have an interest in transitioning and I'm just I'm trying to figure out cuz I'm constantly having this pushing pool in my brain and I'm just trying to figure out where I want to go with this and there's no real resources in my town to talk to people so that's why I kind of came to this forum kind of try to figure it out and I apologize if I came off as being disrespectful that was not my intention I'm just trying to wrap my head around this new way of well living openly
