Glad that you found your way here! I trust that the time spent on the site will be useful as your journey continues.

Are you connected with the trans community in your area? It appears that the Tampa-St. Petersburg area is the closest metropolitan area to you. The reason I say this is that being among ones peers is a powerful tool to help combat isolation and we also must remember that we humans are social creatures.

I think one of the most important things about support and social gatherings among trans people is the realization that others have struggled with the same issues and successfully dealt with them. It is a reminder of the possible.

Another thing to do is consider working with a therapist. For the vast majority of us, gender identity and the possibility of transition is not something that we have thought about in great depth and detail. Often the fears around how these thoughts may change our lives are enough to stop us from going further. A therapist can help with understanding what is going on and help to strategize next steps.

I suggest that you complete your Profile Page. The reason is that the more we know about you, the more things there are to talk about and suggestions that can be made.
