Just wanted to say hello
I'm new here I love to walk around in high heels. I love the sound they make as they strike the ground.

Welcome to the site! That said, there are a few things to know. I see that you are also on CDH, so I’ll discuss the differences.
The bulk of members here on TGH, if not all, were crossdressers at one time. Eventually they figured out that they needed something more as they came to a better, and more in depth, understanding of themselves. The desire was to transition in some way, whether Social Transition or Physical Transition. Both topics are covered here in sub-forums.
What you will see here are discussions about document changes, medications, medical procedures, dealing with family issues, dealing with employment issues, etc. Typically, these are not things that would apply to the vast majority of crossdressers.
On the other hand, you will find very little on TGH about clothes, accessorizing and other related topics. For the most part, members here have gained what they needed to know during their earlier crossdressing days and that knowledge continues forward. The primary difference being that most trans people present as their target gender essentially all of the time, whereas crossdressers dress at home, a few nights a week, on weekends, etc. Basically, while the 2 communities are related, they are quite different in a number of ways.
A number of us maintain a presence on both sites. For me, I kept my CDH membership as it was important to me to share some things that I have learned along the way regarding sizing of women’s clothings and shoes, color coordination, et al.
As you move forward with figuring out how things sit for you, I suggest talking to a therapist. Many here have benefitted from professional help. It can be very difficult to deal with these issues on our own due to fear and the potential upheavals in our lives.
One warning: finding a therapist with experience in gender issues is important as not everyone has that expertise.
