I think your profile picture looks very nice. Contouring and highlighting can be kind of tricky, at least for me. I have found makeup books for cis women helpful in this area. That and practice, practice, practice ☺️.

Kara, you look great! I’m a neophyte when it comes to makeup- my wife did mine for a recent “photo shoot”. I am also gathering knowledge, and can say that YouTube has a ton of great beginner makeup vids, and really there are vids for all skill levels.

As was mentioned before, PRACTICE! And be patient. Makeup takes time to figure out what suits you.

I would just suggest that less is more when it comes to contouring though...That's just me though.
