Hello,

I don't believe I've already posted to introduce myself. So here goes:

I'm pretty much an open book, after a life long struggle as a result of childhood trauma, I finally had the courage to be 100% open to the psychologist during my assessment. I only found the courage to book the appointment after suffering a small stroke in May of 2020. What followed was a suprise, I honestly didn't expect to be diagnosed with gender dysphoria. The doubt remained as well and so when I had the opportunity I went through the assessment a second time. It was during those conversations that I finally realised that I was really transgender. Self confidence is still very low, but I do feel happy at home being me. I just don't like the outside world very much especially in the current climate that aims to put transgenders constantly in a bad light. I am hoping that being a part of this community that I get to make some friends, as I currently don't have that many left. 2021 was a tough year for me, even worse than 2020. I am still battling with depression so at times I might not be responsive, energy is something I really struggle with still.
Well, that's enough for starters and I hope I haven't made anyone feel uncomfortable because that sure is not my intent.
