Hi!

Glad you joined us. You look familiar; from crossdressers.com perhaps?

I appreciate your filling out the Profile page. Many only cover a small part of it and that doesn’t help to get people to know them.

By the way, I lived in Corning, NY for 23 years before I retired in January 2016 and relocated to the SoCal desert. While there are a number of things that I miss about NYS, snow isn’t one of them!?!?

I hope you have a good experience here.

I was not on crossdressers.com.  I love the area around Corning.  I grew up in Ithaca.  I love the snow.

As is said, we all have unrelated twins somewhere in the world. That must be the one I was thinking about!

Moving to Corning was a different experience coming from the midwest. I’m originally from Toledo and lived in Joliet for a couple of years before moving to Corning. My background was living in the flatlands without much in the way of woods.

I always enjoyed Ithaca. In fact, a number of the LGBT folks who work for Corning live up there as the city of Corning can be a bit provincial. We still have friends in Ithaca and I do miss visiting there. One of my favorite things is to visit the Johnson Museum in the winter after a snow. The view from the upper floors is just spectacular! I really liked the downtown also. When I was a kid in Toledo, we had an actual downtown as shopping centers were just starting and hadn’t displaced anything. Anyway, it was just something that I grew up with.
