Greetings all. I am old (67) but cannot deny myself any longer. I am at the beginning of my transition and looking forward to the challenges ahead. I meet with my endo doctor for the first time to begin my HRT regime. I will update my status as I move along.

Met with a wonderful doctor and she was so supportive. She started me on Estradiol and spironolactone. It's only day 2 of taking them but I already feel mentally better for making progress.
That's wonderful and how I felt.Β The next things I noticed were skin softening and then body hair growth slowing and thinning.Β Β Enjoy the journey Rachel!
How long before you could actually see any changes? Did you or are you going for top surgery?
I decided I would let the HRT do its thing for 2-3 years before I would make any decisions on physical changes.Β I considered family genetics and felt like I could achieve what I would be comfortable with.
