7 years into my transition / on HRT. Waited a lifetime to transition so as to minimise the impact to my 5 children not to mention the wife. It was rough despite a lifetime of planning and keeping who I was to myself. It appears I did a good job of pretending to be "him" as no one guessed. Despite transitioning late in life I pass quite well, so I'm told, and life is pretty amazing now. Had all the usual confirming surgeries and live life fulltime as a woman.
I would encourage new members to start posting ASAP as so many never do and drop off after a short while. This group will only be as good as its members contributions, so start posting and share your journey, we all need support and encouragement. Biggest hugs.

Hi Mistress B.
Welcome to TGH.
Although I have two and a half years here, I became really active at the end of last year. So I thank your encouragement to new members to start posting and share their own journeys because I really want TGH to be more active.
However, strong bonds of friendship and camaraderie are created here. Thanks for sharing your story.
