Hi folks, as the title suggests my name is Sylvia. I'm 29 and started my transition a decade ago. I'm post op, I've been on and off hormones, and I've kinda grown away from the community.
But lately I've found that I miss being a part of the trans community. I miss having other people that can understand some of what I've been through. In truth, I also miss helping people through their transition, helping people be their most authentic self is one of the best things I can do with my time and I've left that part of my life behind.
But I'm back, and I want to be a part of the community again.
Aside from all that, I'm a professional chef and will always love to talk about food, and am more then willing to teach people about food. In my free time I'm an avid gamer, I play mtg and dnd weekly, and sometimes find time for a raid in destiny. A long time fan of fantasy, scifi, and of course anime.
I hope to get to know the folks here, and hope it'll be a good space to connect with my sisters. Big love all!
Hello Sylvia,
Welcome to our TransGender Heaven (TGH) site: A Transgender Support Site. We are a wonderful, accepting, loving, helpful community where you can be safe and be yourself.
You can read about the knowledge and experiances of others on a similar path by reading articles and in the forums and chatting in chat rooms.
My hope is that you will become comfortable here and make many new friends.
Glad you are here. Looking forward to seeing you on the site.
Terri Anne, Ambassador

Sylvia:
Happy that you found us! There are many members here from Canada. You can search for them by clicking on Social in the menu and then Member Directory.
A quick search yielded some possible resources in your area. I would suggest seeing what they can offer in terms of social and support events. Forums and offerings through ZOOM and other online programs are good and better than nothing, but they are not a substitute for live, in person interactions when available.
Please complete your Profile page when you have an opportunity. The information in your message above goes a long way towards helping others understand your situation. But, the problem is this: eventually all threads sink to the bottom of the pile and they get archived. The only way to see them is to search for them via a somewhat recalcitrant search utility. However, capturing that same information on your Profile page is only 2 clicks away for anyone and you can update it at any time.
