I am a lont time crossdresser, present myself as a mature, classy woman. I usually go out alone for dinner, a play, a museum.
I am having a difficult time finding places to go to attend transgender-type events, parties or groups or simple get togethers.
I would appreciate recommendations or advice.

My suggestion is just go to events; concerts, theatre or whatever... that is what I did last year and the world did not end... I travelled 20km around Europe.

It would help other members better understand you and your situation if you would complete your Profile page. It will always be readily available and you can update it at any time.
Also, if you would like to search for other members near you, click on Social in the menu and then Member Directory…
When I dedcided last fall to get out and about, I found several sources for LGBTQA+ "resources". One place directed me to a local CD/TG group that is set up on Meetup. You can go to that site and search by transgender or crossdresser or cross dresser within a comfortable radius of your location. Another strategy is google search LGBTQ resources, clubs, restaurants, etc. "near me" or "in Pittsburgh (in my case).
