I've just watched a video by Lucille Sorella (linked from this site) which suggested using colour corrector as a means to counter the blueness of beard shadow on the face. I'd not heard of this before and it doesn't seem to be widely available in most shops. There are vast numbers of concealers which I know aren't quite the same but I use one of those already before applying foundation and powder. Do others here use correctors? Are they effective, are they expensive and what kind of shop actually sells them? Advice please.
Many brands have color corrector products. Search by brand and the term corrector…
Hi Rebecca,
I had a professional makeover. The perk to this experience and makeup session was that all the products she used were readily available at local stores. The only product that I have to order is the beard concealer! It’s magical and allows me to go really light on foundation so it does not looked caked. I have found makeup application to be so much lighter since using it and ultimately blending in in many more environment even up close so much easier since I started using it 3 years ago. The product is by Mehron and the shade I use is called light auguste. Very reasonable in price. Check it out I think you will be thrilled with it. Good Luck! Hugs!

Thanks for the suggestion, Amanda. I've looked online and the Mehron US site doesn't seem to have this product. What is the product's name? Can you supply a link, by any chance? Thanks!
Go to Amazon and search mehron light auguste it’s right there for 13$

How did you choose the right shade for your skin?

Just a little advice on the colour corrector from fare skin to tan skin, you can use orange this will work dear ?as I from UK 🇬🇧 also I have tan skin I can use that shade under my concealer but it works well letting it settle for 30 seconds to blend with your skin type.if you do have cobanation type of skin make sure you are using the write primer for your skin?. Lastly the e.l.f cosmetics 💄 ♥️ are very affordable 👌. Also you may get good advice...just little advice to a Sister from Charlotte-Mia.
