Before I begin, yes all experiences are subjective and unique, I get that. Looking for mtf experiences changing from T fuel to E fuel. In what ways do you ‘feel’ different, do you see the world differently, has you thinking about people and relationships changed, are you ‘calmer’, do you feel emotional responses to situations differently? Thanks Megan

@meganmoore Megan, for me, to a certain extent, it is a yes & no answer. Most of the time, I do notice a change in the perspective through which I view things or see the world. But then there are things, outside forces, that just can't seem to let me go, and they expect me to bend to their perception of what I used to be. So, is that a case of 'the world won't let me go'? Internally accepting that the old you has changed to the new you, can be far easier that the external acceptance that we have little control over. Hugs

Hello Megan , welcome to the site .

Form my own experience I didn't see the world any different to how I view it now . I transitioned early in life so this might have impacted some one else . I have always been a logical thinker , that will never change either . When it comes to relationships with family , that has changed , but only with one family member . Will not hang with others who don't support me . I don't need that negative energy form others bring me down . As for being calmer , yes that has changed and more emotional the before but i have always been very emotional . Nope , handle situations the same , just more manure Wink

Megan, I have been on HRT for only one month and I have not experienced any change in emotion or anything for that matter. Time will tell. The only thing that has changed are my nipples are very sensitive to the touch all most a burning sensation.

Hi Megan
After 4yrs on HRT...I don't feel any different emotionally. Everyone I know says I have changed a lot. Really? I guess it's like tasting sweetness, you can only compare it to what you ate straight before....and emotionally that was only yesterday. How I was 4yrs ago, I can't really tell. A few things: I don't get angry driving or frustrated with what others do. I'm far more tranquil in my outlook. I'm more emotional with animals and the beauty of natural things. I react more with my heart (and purse) much more than my head. And I can't seem to read maps anymore? No really.

That's quite a lot of change I guess eh?

Alex
