Lol, I watched a few old Godzilla movies over the weekend. I remember watching them as a kid.Β The scifi channel was running a marathon.Β
On another note I watched the 2021 animated Disney film Luca about a year ago. While watching I began to see the sea creature pretending to be a human and wary of being discovered as a metaphor for being Trans in an intolerant world.Β Watching it from that perspective, I found it very touching and it made me 😢 cry. Happy 😊 tears.
@trishsummers Patricia, that made me remember that decades ago, when I was a lot younger, there was a public TV channel that used to run those old b/w Japanese samurai movies. The ones from back in the 60s...... Poorly subtitled, but they were a good way to just sit back and relax. hugs
I watched some of those also, and I just remembered the Sinbad movies.Β 🤔I do remember playing outside a lot,but I sure did watch a lot of TV 📺 as a child. lol
OMG yes, those old stop action animation movies like Jason and the Argonauts too..... My grand-son was always scared of those when he was young, until I showed him how the original King Kong was made. Then he was like, 'ohhhhh..... I get it'
@michellelarsen1 I loved the original King Kong as well as the 1970s remake.Β I collected King Kong cards.Β The old ones with the bubble gum.
