The NHS over here is a funny thing, in a lot of ways it’s fantastic and there is a lot of treatments available on there which would otherwise cost a fortune, including srs and hormone treatment, however it can get bogged down at times and when that’s the case you can be waiting a long time for treatment if it’s not considered an essential treatment, unfortunately gender reassignment isn’t considered essential so the waiting times are crazy, I am on the waiting list (2yrs) but i am considering going private but that will depend on finances etc.
