Speaking of the show biz cars, the shop and show room that George Barris had is being sold by his daughter and sons. They are asking close to $4mil for the site. The idea is to put the cars that are now in the showroom into a museum in the area. There is more detail, but I would have to search for the article where I saw that. Back in the day George and his brother Sam were IT. They were a major, major force in the rise of custom car building.
