When I was in college, the Associate Dean of the College of Engineering was Dean Ernest Weaver. He was known as the Wean Deaver.

Professor George Heath taught the thermodynamic courses that I took. He was known as HeathKit. Probably pretty obscure reference these days, but back in the day, Heath Electronics sold kits for building radios, TVs, etc.
