While crossdressing could be described as a lifestyle, for transgender people it is just Life. Typically crossdressers don’t feel the need, nor are driven, to live as the other gender but transgender people do.

If I understand correctly, it appears that you identify as a crossdresser. While there are some crossdressers here, this site is primarily for transgender people. I suspect that many of the crossdressers here may be trying to figure out if they are, in fact, transgender. That’s not a problem.

However, if you have no interest in that, I suggest that you have a look at our sister site, (CDH). Some of the differences are:

  • On TGH you will find discussion about working with a therapist, hormone replacement therapy, gender affirmation surgeries, document changes regarding name and gender, relationship issues, coming out, transitioning in place, etc.
  • On CDH you will find discussion about presentation, clothing choices and sizing, makeup, having makeovers, etc.

In short, the difference is about living as the other gender temporarily or permanently. Have a look at the forum topics on both sites and see what fits you better…
