Are you connected to the trans community in your area? It is powerful thing to be among ones peers and realize that you are not alone. Note that many LGBT organizations have been doing online support and social gatherings, so that may be a way to work around any distance issues.
I also suggest that you complete your Profile page as it really helps other members to get to know you better, learn what your goals and struggles are, etc. You can update the page at any time and it will always be readily available.
