Speaking as a closet crossdresser working on the next step of undergoing full transition, I understand. Yes by all means find yourself a therpist, one with a background of working with trans clients. Its about you and you processing and coming to grips withese feelings of femaleness and perhaps wanting to be one. A word of caution that Ive learned the hard way–only share those feelings and urges with someone trustworthy and discrete.

I revealed my crossdressing ways to a pastor and suffered rejection and judgement. For a long time this person, whom Ive known for nearly three decades, were severely divided.Things are better now, but I know I cant really share who I am fully just because of his beliefs. I have to be careful. Now that Im thinking sbout transition and taking steps towards it I guard my tongue. But a true friend who supports you no matter what is a precious source of comfort.
