Well, I knew I was different a long time ago, when I was a young child. I accepted that I was trans while recovering from my heart surgery in July of 2021. I decided I needed to transition and a date was chosen for the debut, or birth, of Lauren. I started living as a woman full time on March 31st, 2022, which, conveniently, was Transgender Day of Visibility. So, for me, TDoV will always be Lauren’s birthday.

So, as you can figure, I recently had my first birthday!
