Hello there Irina, my name Joyce and I know you will find much of the information that you’re looking for here.
I’m not on the site often, but I do get notifications and your tentative introduction caught my attention.
Let me tell you a bit more about me first so you will know who you are talking to. I’m a cis female and my wife is a transgender woman. We met about two months in, to her beginning HRT and seriously transitioning.
I have many wonderful friends and acquaintances who have transitioned or are in the process, and something has stood out to me because I see and hear it time and again from those that have completed their transgender/ journey. I want to share that with you, and I hope it helps you, even if it’s just a little bit.
Supporting each other gives us insight and hope and knowing we are never alone. So glad to meet you. So here’s what is frequently said by many of the ladies that completed their transition. “I thought it was going to be so difficult going through this process, but it turned out to be much easier than I ever imagined”.
I know everyone has different expectations and experience, but I always seem to hear that their experiences were mostly positive.
Anyway, I just felt like you needed to hear that.
If you haven’t already, go to chat and get started with whatever you need to say or ask.
I’m not anybody on the site. I just happened to see your introduction and as I said, I was compelled to say “hi” back to you.
I know that you will be glad you found TGH
