Rather than waiting for someone to contact you, I suggest a proactive approach. Click on Social in the menu and then Member Directory. There you can search for other members in your area and then contact them through Private Messages. If You Build It They Will Come only works in the movies.
It would also be helpful if you completed your Profile page. It really helps others to understand your situation and goals. Your page will always be readily available and may be updated at any time.
Further, do an internet search for either transgender or LGBT resources in your area. Many organizations started doing support and social gatherings online during the pandemic. Eventually what they found was that it was a great way to connect with people who had difficulties with being on site due to scheduling or transportation issues and that continues. If you are not that close geographically to any of the organizations, it is a great way to experience the community socially. Also, it is very rare that groups expect people to present in their target gender, so don’t let that stop you.
