Amy,
Years ago, a now retired gender therapist told us that crossdressing is part of the group under the umbrella of transgenderism. I’m good with that.
I’ve lived as a non binary female for about 20 years now, and I act more like a crossdresser than a “trans woman”. I’m not taking hormones any more, I don’t care to have SRS, or if I have breasts, I quit wearing bras (too hot here). But I’m finishing up electrolysis, I plan to have 90% of my body done. (I’m a retired hospice nurse, and have had to shave a lot of my female patients, don’t want anyone to have to do that for me).
I do enjoy having a female hairdo, I quit having the gray covered. All my shoes and clothes are feminine, my family doesn’t expect me to wear men’s clothes to visit them. Almost all my friends are gals, and I play in an all girl ukulele band. I’m livin’ the dream, as they say.
I hope you find plenty of support here.
