Iβm originally from Toledo, but sorry to say that I had never heard of Bridgeport. That prompted a few moments with Google Earth and AHA!
At the moment there are 524 members in Ohio, but obviously MANY of them have not logged in for some time. You can search the Member Directory by doing this:
- Click on Social in the menu
- Click on Member Directory
- Where is says: Click On Your Country Belowβ¦, Click on United States
- The Country box should show United States of America along with the current member count
- For State or Province, select Ohio
- It takes a few moments, but the result will be all of the members who have listed Ohio as their state of residence
- If the resulting list shows Last Online in years, clicking on Sort By: Last Active with reverse the sort order
- Unfortunately not everyone included their town of residence in their Profile page information.
- Click on View Profile to see what the member has written and from there you can click on Public Message or Private Message to contact them.
All the towns close to you are relatively small. You can search by City, but given the size of the towns, the search probably will not yield much if anything. However, Pittsburgh is relatively close, so to search by City:
- Click on Clear Results and Remove All Filters if there are selections left over from a previous Search
- Where is says: Click On Your Country Belowβ¦, Click on United States
- The Country box should show United States of America along with the current member count
- Where is says: Search Users By All Fields, enter Pittsburgh and click on Search
You can also search for any city using this technique.
Also, I encourage you to complete your Profile page. It really helps other members to understand you, your situation and goals.
