Every story like this shared by the women on this site bolsters my confidence that my own “conversations” when they take place may not turn out near as negative as I currently imagine. And that increases hope that maybe, just maybe I can be Charlene, out and authentically, with the support and love from those whom at this moment it seems so improbable.
