Reply To: Admires and Cis Gender Members: Jas Thoughts!

I would just like to add one more thought, I have been reading here about coming out and friends that stop calling or visiting or going out anymore. I can only speak for myself but when I went out with my friend when she was dressed, I would feel uncomfortable becasue people would look at me like a pervert, to be honest it was difficult at first. One lady once said to me your going to hell (being I wear a wedding ring) we were at CVS. Just because my friend had the courage didn’t mean I did, truthfully, you never get used to it. I know it sounds a bit selfish but sometimes it’s not because we are judging the person, we are just not ready for the transition. I am mindful that this is also difficult for my friend, but I am just posting my point of view.
