Quite a few here on both CDH and TGH websites are late bloomers. I am a MTF transgender woman who is not going to transition. My wife and I are in counseling which has been great for us personally. However everyone here will help in any way they can from advice to a shoulder to cry on. You should do some research as Xelyn stated. Build up your knowledge so you are prepared to talk on the subject and if you can afford a gender identity counselor, costs the same as a regular counselor, you should at least get some sessions and go from there. Someone mentioned state programs which may help with the costs but I am not certain. The ambassadors here are phenomenal and are always here to help. Lean on them and others you meet here.
