Alexis, I’m not big on makeup, and frankly when I wear it, it usually a color that just suits my mood. Just something light and to more hide the ‘old lady’ face and complexion. Might be something for some of the Jecca Blac forums as well. Hugs, Michelle

      Hello!

For eyeliner, we would recommend using a pencil as liquid eyeliner can be a bit trickier to apply as they can smudge and get everyway. Once you feel confident using a pencil, you can experiment a bit more using a liquid eyeliner.

Black or brown eyeliner are both universally flattering, whilst brown is better if you’re going for a softer look, and black is better if you’re going for a more dramatic look. If you want to soften the eyeliner, take a small eyeliner brush and blend the edges out to create a softer look!

My goto is a thin black liquid eyeliner on the upper eyelid only. One thinks a pen would be easier to handle for me, having Parkinson’s disease since 10 years back. However the pens l have tried have never given much colour in spite of repeated applications.

I’ve seen girls that temporarily use scotch tape on their eyelid to get a nice defined line for eyeliner. I haven’t tried it myself yet but it seems like a good idea. There are videos on YouTube that show how this is done.

Yep the cat eye defined edge with tape was and is still a goto for me when I go out on the town, keep a roll in my makeup table.  It is far easier than the alternative of a liquid eyeliner or after correction. They also make little wands with an edge for the eyes as well, but I never used one.  The one issue with tape is, you will want to apply your concealer, eye primer, and foundation prior to the liner otherwise it is not crisp.  Plus blending prior.  The tape will stick to the under layers and if you use one of those cheap xmas versions your touch up after will be a mess. There are some scotch versions that are not as sticky usually the frosty type.
