First, it is great to find a welcoming digital site for us to share our journey!  Although I am new to the site, I have been a part of the community for decades, coming out as transgender in the early 90’s and watching how much progress has been made is truly wonderful.  For a variety of reasons, transition was not really an option, and I am exploring this option now as I am older, wiser, and have had a gender affirming counselor for almost ten years.  The one thing I have learned is that when the time is right, it is right.

Definitely agree about Timing. Many here have said that they wished that they came out sooner, transitioned sooner, etc. However, I usually counter with asking would they have been ready at whatever time in the past? I suspect not. I think many things will happen in their own time and not when we wish it so.
