Hi everyone, I am Emily. I am MTF Transgender. I am married and have a family. I am not on HRT nor attempting to pass any social normal standards of appearance. My occupation makes it difficult to consider transition and I am content with what I am doing right now. I hope to connect with some friends as my current list of friends do not involve many Transgender people. Thanks.

Emily:
Glad you found us!
It seems that circumstances indicate that you take a more holistic approach to things. Nothing wrong with that. Often it isn’t about just us as there are other factors to consider. That does complicate things a bit, so I hope that you can strike a balance as things progress.
We must also keep in mind that progress is rarely linear. Things may speed up or slow down. That is the nature of the beast.
Thanks for completing your Profile page. It really is helpful for other members to understand your situation and how it is going. Plus, you can update it at any time if something changes for you.
Be Well and good to have you with us!

Thanks all for the welcome. I have been progressing and declining along my line of progress for some time. I first currently wear only women’s clothing around my family but one might think what I am wearing could be guys clothing…. at least I know. My wife knows full well I am transgender but probably hopes I stay somewhere more male but I am trying to stay in my lane while raising my kids and living the life I built and still be genuinely me.

The thing is that there is no “right” way to do this. It comes down to balancing what you can tolerate with what you need to do. There are many things that are part of the equation, but each of us may weight them differently…
