Hi,I am Mandy and genderfluid.It was after I turned 40,I realized something came back from my past.When I was 20,realized I was transgender and there feelings of this.I just masked it up for a long time.Doing my research,realized I was genderfluid having the urges to be female.It was finally time I came out and my family is glad I came out.I dress as female and my family sees me happy to this day.A single dad of two sons whom are 16 and 14 now.It was rough at first,thought I let them down at first.Realized I did not let them down and was struggling inside.Now 44,I live a good happy life as Mandy

I see that you are from Ohio. I’m originally from Toledo. I left in 1990 when I was transferred to a plant that employer had in Illinois. I live in Joliet for 2 years and Corning, NY for 23 before retiring and relocating to the desert in Southern California.

Very happy that you are moving forward with your journey. Clearly it isn’t easy, but it is what we need to do.

I went through a lot before coming out.Plus I experimented crossdressing thinking I was a crossdresser and knew I wasn’t.During this,the urges to be female happened.Mom saw at times I wanted be like her when I was about 12 years old
