I am the mother of a BEAUTIFUL 19-year-old daughter.  It makes my heart soar to see her becoming the person she was meant to be.

I’ve revamped her wardrobe.  I redid her apartment.  But damn.  The girl needs SHOES.  She has really big feet, and mama bear is on a mission to give her the kinds of choices that I have with footwear.

I have, literally, been online all day trying to find fun and fashionable options for her.  I want her to have sandals. Running shoes. Cute little ballet flats- shoes for every damn occasion.

I’m only finding Mrs. Doubtfire or fetish fashion.  She is neither a dowdy old woman nor a fetish.  She’s my baby. Please help. <3

First off, you are wonderful! I’m so happy to hear that you are so supportive of your daughter. Very few of us get that from our parents. Second, yeah shoes are a bit tough. Online is a great place to look.

One tip I have is that open toed shoes are easier. I’ve yet to find a pair of close toed heels that don’t KILL my feet. But my strappy open toed I can wear all day. My two favorite shops are Nordstrom Rack and DSW. Both offer discounted shoes and often have larger sizes, with Nordstrom having the bigger selection. For the good online shops I have to defer to the other ladies here as I’m not much of an online shopper, especially for shoes.

Online, maybe try Apavi40+ ??? They specialise in large sizes. They are based in Rīga, Latvia which is great for me – they have a real shop, but do online as well…. Hope it helps! xxxx
