Happy the you have joined us and I hope it will be helpful as your journey continues.
Rather than the hit or miss of waiting for someone to contact you, I suggest 2 proactive approaches:
- Do some searching around for transgender resources near where you are. Many LGBT centers have support groups or chat groups for trans people and a number of them are being conducted over ZOOM or other teleconferencing programs. I’m in the SoCal desert and participate in 2 different chat groups every week. We have regular call-ins from up the coast, Nebraska, Las Vegas, Seattle and Michigan.
- You can search for members near you by clicking on Social in the menu and then Member Directory.
I also suggest that you complete your Profile page as it helps others to understand your situation. The page can be updated at any time and will always be readily available.
